TS Series
The portable conference system shall be compact and lightweight. The system shall provide clear
sound and reliable operation. The system shall be comprised of three components: System
Controller, Chairperson’s Station and Delegate’s Station. The Chairperson and Delegate’s
Stations shall connect in a daisy-chain configuration to the System Controller using supplied
cables with push-lock connectors. The system capacity shall be a maximum of 70
Chairperson/Delegate’s Stations using a single System Controller and 140
Chairperson/Delegate’s Stations using a Central Amplifier with two expansion amplifiers. The
System Controller shall support a maximum of 70 Chairperson/Delegate’s Stations or 35
Chairperson/Delegate’s Stations when used as an expansion amplifier. The System Controller
shall include a mic limiter feature to set the number of simultaneously active Delegate’s Stations
to one, two, four or six stations. The System Controller shall include a time out feature, adjustable
to 20 seconds, 40 seconds or always on to automatically turn off any active
Chairperson/Delegate’s Stations. The station shall provide one external microphone input (600
ohms, -60 dBV, unbalanced, phone jack), one auxiliary input (10k ohms, -20 dBV, unbalanced,
phone jack), and one auxiliary input (600 ohms, 0 dBV, unbalanced, phone jack). Individual
external microphone, auxiliary and line level adjustment shall be located on the front panel. Two
line outputs (0 dBV, unbalanced, 8 pin mini socket), two recording outputs (10k ohms, -20 dBV,
unbalanced, phone/dual RCA jacks) and priority chime level adjustment shall be located on the
rear panel. Power requirement shall be 120 VAC, 60 Hz, maximum 135 W power consumption
and the operating temperature range shall be 32° F (0° C) to 104° F (40° C). The station shall
weigh 8.5 lbs. (3.9 kg) and be constructed of colored steel plate with a semi-mat black finish with
dimensions (W x H x D) of 8.27" x 3.48" x 12.44" (210 x 93 x 316 mm).

An optional extension cable shall be available complete with one 8 pin mini-socket and two 8 pin
mini plugs. The dimensions shall be 39.37" x 393.7" (1 m x 10 m).

The Chairperson’s Station shall include a detachable gooseneck microphone with integral ring-
shaped LED (-60 dBV, unidirectional, back electret condenser type), built-in speaker (130 W,
200mW), Press On/Off Talk button and a Press-To-Talk Priority Speech button. Pressing and
releasing the Talk button shall turn the microphone and LED on and automatically disconnect the
speaker to prevent feedback. Pressing and releasing the Talk button again shall turn the
microphone and LED off and re-connect the speaker. Pressing and holding the Priority button
shall activate a single-tone chime, turn the microphone and LED on, and turn off and disable all
Delegate’s microphones. Releasing the Priority button shall turn the microphone and LED off and
allow normal operation of Delegate’s Stations.

The Chairperson’s Station shall provide one line port (0 dBV, unbalanced, 8 pin mini socket) and
one recording output (10k ohms, -20 dBV, unbalanced, mini-jack). Power requirement shall be 35
VDC, less than 30 mA, supplied by the System Controller and the operating temperature range
shall be 32° F (0° C) to 104°F (40° C). The Chairperson’s Station shall weigh 1.23 lbs. (560 g)
(w/o cable) and be constructed of ABS resin with a semi-mat black finish with dimensions (W x H
x D) of 6.69" x 2.32" x 5.79" (170 x 59 x 147 mm) (microphone excluded). A connection cable,
39.37" x 78.74" (1 m x 2 m) shall be provided with each station.

The Delegate’s Station shall include a detachable gooseneck microphone with integral ring-
shaped LED (-60 dBV, unidirectional, back electret condenser type), built-in speaker (130 W, 200
mW), Press On/Off Talk button and a Press-to-talk Priority Speech button. Pressing and releasing

operating temperature range shall be 32°F (0°C) to 104°F (40°C). The Delegate’s Station shall
weigh 1.23 lbs. (560g) (w/o cable) and be constructed of ABS resin with a semi-mat black finish
with dimensions (W x H x D) of 6.69" x 2.32" x 5.79" (170 x 59 x 147 mm) (microphone excluded).
A connection cable, 39.37" x 78.74" (1 m x 2 m) shall be provided with each station.

The system controller shall be TOA model TS-700.
The extension cable shall be TOA model YR-700.
The rack-mount bracket shall be TOA model MB-23B-BK.
The chairperson station shall be TOA model TS-701.
The delegate station shall be TOA model TS-702.
