TOA's versatile IP
Series Dual Channel Power Amplifiers offer high quality sound
output that is ideally suited for such professional audio system
applications as halls, hotel ballrooms and sports stadiums. Specially
designed for compact proportions and lighter weight, these pro-use
amplifiers feature proven power amplification circuitry that ensures
outstanding reliability. When connected to a 4 ohm load, the ruggedly
constructed IP-600D delivers 600W of sound output per channel
(IP-450D: 450W, IP-300D: 300W). Stereo, Parallel or Bridged operation
can be selected by way of a rear panel-mounted mode selection switch.
Slimly designed for easy installation in standard 19” equipment
racks, these 2-unit-high amplifiers feature rugged steel chassis
construction and a solid black finish. Their attractive black zinc
diecast front panels feature a large, centrally positioned power
switch surrounded by recessable input level control knobs. Designed to
prevent accidental setting changes, these knobs must first be pressed
to raise them above the front panel surface for input level
adjustment. LED indicators provide instantly recognizable readout of
operating conditions such as signal presence, clipping, protection
circuit activation and level control bypass. Quiet, ballbearing-loaded,
variable-speed fans ensure efficient cooling. Removable front panel
dust filters simplify maintenance. Front panel-mounted carrying
handles can be easily detached when installed in door-equipped racks.
Optional output transformers are available for high impedance
applications.
The TOA IP Series are backed with a five year warranty.

and thermal levels and disables output to minimize potential damage
from overloads, short circuit, DC offset or over heating.
