Digital Matrix Mixer/Amplifiers Firmware v1.x to v3.x Update
Procedure: Note: If you do not need to retain settings programmed in v1.x firmware, please skip to Step #4 (All previously programmed settings will be erased.). Step 1: Download, install and run 9000 Series Maintenance Software v1.0 (ZIP, 890kb) to save settings (see the 9000 Series Firmware Update manual, included in the ZIP file, for instructions on setting the 9000 unit to BACKUP mode). The purpose of this step is to provide a backup of your settings in the event that an issue occurs during Step 2. Step 2: To update firmware and retain existing settings from firmware v1.11 or earlier, download, install and run the 9000 Series Update Software v2.01 (ZIP, 575Mb). This software is an all-in-one method of updating unit firmware to v2.01 and transferring existing settings. After successful completion, unit should display v2.01 after power-up. Note: save existing settings first using the method noted in Step 1. Step 3: Next, download, install and run the 9000 Series Maintenance Software v2.01 (ZIP, 885kb) to save settings in the new v2.01 format (Note that this file will overwrite the previous version 1.0 installed in Step 1. Step 4: Next, download and install 9000 Series Firmware Update v3.13 (ZIP, 1.4Mb).
