TOA Welcomes Clayton Blick November 28, 2011——Secaucus, NJ—— We would like to welcom Mr. Clayton Blick to the TOA Team, where he will take the role as National Sales Manager. Clayton brings a rich history in the pro/commercial AV industry and he has previously served as NSM with several other well-known audio manufacturers. He is also technically versed and adds a well-rounded perspective to our sales effort, having worked closely with many of our key customers. We all look forward to working with him to meet the challenges ahead and wish him great success. Clayton will be based in the Secaucus, NJ office and will report to the President & CEO.
TOA Welcomes Scott Russak November 23, 2011——Secaucus, NJ—— TOA Electronics, Inc., manufacturer of commercial audio and security products, has welcomed a new employee to their team, Mr. Scott Russak. Scott begins his role as Northeast Regional Sales Manager with strong sales management, as well as technical background in commercial AV electronics industry. This synergy of skills will make him a valuable resource for helping to more closely engage our customers and improve TOA's market position in the Northeast Region. Scott will work from the Secaucus, NJ office and will report to the National Sales Manager.
TOA Welcomes Jonathan Allen November 1, 2011——Secaucus, NJ—— Join us in welcoming Jonathan Allen as our new Systems Design Engineer. Jonathan comes to TOA having several years experience in the field designing and integrating audio-visual systems. He will be responsible for working directly with installing dealers, consultants and end-users in the NY Metro area to ensure they receive the best on-site evaluation, as well as technical and design assistance. He will help them explore and understand the solutions that TOA offers, so they can be more effectively integrated into their projects. Alvin Cayanan has joined the TOA team as Product Repair Technician. He has held management and technical support positions with technology companies including Jim Dunlop Manufacturing, Indusys Technology Inc., Samsung Electronics Inc., and Tech Expert Express. His electronics knowledge and experience leveraging 15+ years in technology initiates a great contribution to TOA's continued growth in the industry. He works out of the Burlingame, CA office.

As the Marketing Communications Coordinator, Bridget Hudzik has a diverse marketing background spanning all areas of print and digital media. As a current graduate student earning her Master's Degree in Public Relations and Organizational Communications at the prestigious Montclair State University in Montclair, New Jersey, Bridget brings her creative ideas and positive attitude to the position. She reports to Bob Tamburri and works out of the Secaucus, NJ office.

Promotes Bob Tamburri February 1, 2011——Burlingame, CA —— TOA Electronics, Inc., manufacturer of commercial audio and security products, has promoted Bob Tamburri to the position of Marketing Director. Bob will be responsible overseeing product marketing, product management and marketing communications nationwide. Bob has acquired over 25 years of experience in the audio industry. He has been involved in Product Marketing & Development for over 12 years, having served similar roles for other Professional & Consumer audio electronics manufacturers. President & CEO, Mr. Masahiko Takao states; “TOA needs to strengthen and expand its product marketing activities in order to reach its goals. Mr. Tamburri has been serving well in his role as Marketing & Product Manager and I believe that he can bring his experience and talent in that area to his new position. Josh is experienced in audio production, serving nearly 10 years in the industry, and is highly knowledgeable in TOA products through his previous position as TOA’s Product Support Specialist and Western Region Consultant Liaison and Trainer. Josh received a Bachelor of Arts degree from San Francisco State University where he majored in Broadcast Electronic and Communicative Arts with a special emphasis in Audio Production. Marketing Director, Bob Tamburri, states: “Josh continues to prove himself a valuable link between TOA and the Consultant & Dealer communities. Promotes Tim Lee February 2, 2011——Burlingame, CA——TOA Electronics, Inc., a manufacturer of premier commercial audio and security products, recently announced the promotion of Timothy Lee to Product Support Supervisor. Tim’s new role will be to oversee the Technical Services Group, which includes product support & repair and to help streamline the processes which drive that group’s efforts. Director of Marketing, Bob Tamburri states; “Tim has been serving effectively in his role with the Product Support team and he has gained both customers’ and TEI’s trust. He has now been given wider responsibility to improve both before and after sales service. TOA’s goal is to provide the best technical support in the industry. TOA Product Recall and
Exchange Program February 1, 2011——Burlingame, CA——TOA Electronics, Inc., a manufacturer of premier commercial audio and security products, recently announced their TOA Product Recall and Exchange Program for all SC Series Paging Horn Loudspeaker models. These models had experienced a known production defect, which is that the metal part of the speaker body may crack at position where the mounting bracket is attached due to excess zinc content in the metal, resulting in inferior ability to withstand exposure to moist air & salt, especially when located at shore and indoor pool environments. This defect may cause them to fall, possibly causing injury and/or damage to property. It should be noted however, that the attached speaker wire and/or a safety cable attached between the speaker and the mounting surface by the installer may help prevent the speaker from falling in most cases. The following models have been recalled: · Model SC-610T with a manufacture date between 6/2008-11/2008 (date codes- 08F through 08K and with Serial # range) · Model SC-615 with a manufacture date between 2/2008-11/2008 (date codes- 08B through 08K and with Serial # range) · Model SC-630 with a manufacture date between 9/2008-11/2008 (date codes-08I though 08K and with Serial # range) · Model SC-630T with a manufacture date between 6/2008-11/2008 (date codes- 08F through 08K and with Serial # range) Installers who have used these models are instructed to contact their customer and forward the customer’s Name, address, telephone, e-mail & contact name along with the date of installation, number and model of speakers installed in their facility to the TOA Regional Sales Manger. If un-installation and reinstallation services are provided by the installers, then these speakers can be returned to TOA for new replacement unit(s) exchange. Electronics, Inc. Replacement unit(s) will be distributed in equal quantities, of the exact or similar model speaker in exchange. It will be possible to arrange advance replacement of products for customer installations, as well as re-imbursement for replacement labor costs incurred by the dealer, if the following information is first provided to TOA Customer Service: · Dealer name & account number · Dealer contact name & number or e-mail address · Name, address & e-mail of customer · Model & quantity of speakers · Date codes of speakers · Date of original purchase · Invoice record of installer time at job site for replacement. Dealers will have a period of 60 days from shipment of advance replacement to return defective merchandise. Failure to return defective products within this time frame will result in invoicing of replacement products.
