VS-900RS

Remote Station Line Card

• Provides (16) sixteen Remote Sub-Station ports.

• Compatible with RS-150, RS-160, RS-170 and RS-180 Remote Sub-Stations.

• Provides two talk paths/speech links (one speech, one speech/paging).

• Supports half-duplex communication.

• Paging Input and Output for external paging amplifier connection.

  • A 30 watt paging amplifier is required if the Remote Stations connected to the VS-900RS will be used in a paging zone.

    • TOA's BG-130 30 watt paging amplifier is recommended for this application.

    • One paging amplifier is required per VS-900RS card in the exchange main frame which participate in the paging operation.

RS-190

Indoor Remote Sub-Station

• Provides full-duplex communication.

• Recommended for elevators and other applications.

• Hairline brushed stainless steel faceplate, #14 Gauge.

• Connects to VS-910RS card using two, twisted pair wires.

• Red call in progress LED.

• Control output - open collector type for external relay control.

  • Open collector circuit is activated when the "Call" button is pressed and stays active until the call is completed.

  • Open collector circuit is typically used to trigger a strobe light at the remote station location to indicate the station is in use. (Strobe light and relay supplied by other vendors.)

  • Open collector circuit is not remote controllable from other devices.

• Mounts in two-gang, 2.25" deep electrical box with adapter ring (supplied by other vendors).

• Up to (64) sixty-four RS-190 Remote Stations can be used per VS-900MF using four VS-910RS cards.

• Optional Handset available RS-191.

RS-191

Audio Function Card

• Paging Line output.

VS-900TI

Tie-Line Interface Card

• Required in each VS-900MF exchange in a multi-exchange tie-lined system (16 exchanges maximum).

• Multi-drop (bussed) configuration simplifies wiring.

• Up to four Voice Links (4x Send/4x Receive), two twisted pair wiring for each voice link.

• One Data Link, RS-485, requires (STP) shielded, twisted pair wiring.

VS-900SC

Site Connector Tie-Line Interface for Optical Fiber Interfacing

• Allows you to connect exchanges voice links using standard audio optical fiber interfaces or other media converters (supplied by other vendors).

• Combines up to four voice links from three exchanges.

• Two exchange systems requiring optical fiber or other media connection do not require the VS-900SC.

• Each VS-900SC requires one external power supply, model PU-200.

• To determine the number of VS-900SC, subtract "two" from the total number of VS-900MF Exchange Main-frames. For example, a system with ten VS-900MF will require eight VS-900SC.

       Note: The VS-900SC does not support or connect to the VS-900TI RS-485

                Data Line (CN6). RS-485 optical fiber interfaces or other media

                converters are available from other vendors.

VS-900DI

Direct Select/Master Station Interface Card

• Supports up to (32) VS-910DI Direct Select I/O cards.

• Connects between a single MS-900 Master Station and a single VS-900MS master station port. Each MS-900 master station or custom master station in the system that requires this functionality will require (1) VS-900DI and the appropriate number of       VS-910DI up to a maximum of (32).

• Use standalone without MS-900 to provide interface for custom master stations.

• Headset port is provided.

• Microphone input is provided.

• Speaker output (1 W, 8 Ohms) is provided.

• Key Input terminals (XFER, PTT, C).

• In-use Indication output is provided.

• Requires 24V DC (1A) power supply, model XPS-24VS per (1) VS-900DI and (2) VS-910DI.
