CS-64U

The CS-64U outdoor speaker features stainless steel hardware for all-weather durability. It is designed to offer the high intelligibility of weather-resistant horns combined with the high sound quality of dynamic speakers. The CS-64U employs the rotary switch that facilitates impedance changes. It also employs a constant directivity horn for clear sound output over its horizontal range of 90° operation.

The wide‑range paging speaker shall be an exponential, direct‑radiator design suitable for paging, background music, and tone‑signaling distribution. The speaker component shall be a 4.72" (12 cm) cone‑type dynamic driver, treated for weather resistance. Power handling shall be 6 W.
The speaker shall incorporate a matching transformer for 70 V and 100 V distributed systems. Transformer wattage taps shall include:
70 V: 6 W (830 ohms), 3 W (1.7k ohms), 1.5 W (3.3k ohms), 0.5 W (10k ohms);
100 V: 6 W (1.7k ohms), 3 W (3.3k ohms), 1 W (10k ohms).
Sensitivity (1 W/1 m) shall be 96 dB SPL. Frequency response shall be 130 – 13 kHz. The paging speaker shall be UL Listed under category UL 1480. The horn/cover material shall be ABS resin and off‑white in color. The protective net/grille shall be surface‑treated steel plate with dark‑gray powder coating. All mounting hardware, including screws and bolts, shall be stainless steel. Terminations shall be via an integral 2‑core cabtyre cord, 0.24" (6 mm) in diameter and 24" (600 mm) in length. Dimensions (W × H × D) shall be 9.17" × 8.82" × 8.19" (233 × 224 × 208 mm). Weight shall be 3.31 lb (1.5 kg).
