TOA Electronics, Inc., bids a bittersweet farewell, to our longest, standing representative firm, Vector Corporation. 

After more than five decades of partnership, Vector Corporation has resigned from its representation of our business in two territories. The conclusion of our relationship, which began on November 1, 1970, goes into effect on August 31st, for the A25 Rocky Mountain territory, and September 30th, for the A10 Northwest territory.

Vector, was originally created as a “division” of The Burt C. Porter Co. in 1964, to represent audio manufacturers – and contractually partnered with, TOA Electric Division, initially located at 2 Pine Street, San Francisco, CA – before the incorporation of TOA Electronics, Inc., as we know it today. 

Ted Poulos, the fourth-generation owner of Vector Corporation, along with Bruce Main, who retired in February of 2021, went on to create Triangle Distribution – in order to expand the allocation of specific products. However, as part of this transition, Triangle Distribution will also be dissolved, as the company works through the conversion of its remaining inventory.

We are grateful to Vector Corporation for more than 55 years of commitment, partnership, and service, to our customers and organization. Their long history with our company, represents an important chapter in our business, and we value the relationships & contributions, that they have made throughout the years. 

We’d also like to extend all the very best to Ted, Adam, and Lisa, as they embark in the next chapter of their lives. A business takes tremendous dedication, perseverance, and heart – and we sincerely appreciate the opportunity to have been part of their journey, and wish each of them continued success, fulfillment, and happiness in whatever comes next.

Here’s to new opportunities, new adventures, and an exciting new segment for Ted, Adam, and Lisa.

We have been working closely with our customers & partners throughout this transition, to ensure the continuity of service, and will be providing the necessary assistance required – as plans are finalized on securing new representation.
