5000 Series

The 5000 Series wireless microphone systems are ideal for houses of worship, schools, fitness clubs and many other applications. The new 5000 Series operates in the 506-606MHz bands (on bands H01 & M1) with up to sixteen simultaneous systems possible within each group and even more with combined groups. Transmitter options include the WM-5225 condenser handheld, WM-5265 dynamic handheld, WM-5270 dynamic handheld & WM-5325 body-pack (which accepts any of several lapel & headset mic options). All transmitters can be set to any of 64 UHF frequencies and are powered by a single AA battery for ten hours of continuous operation. Most (except for WM-5270) can also work with rechargeable NiMH AA batteries which can be charged directly inside the mic with optional charging stations. Receiver models include the rack-mountable WT-5800 true diversity 64-channel wireless tuner & WT-5805 space diversity 64-channel wireless tuners, as well as the portable WT-5810 space diversity 16-channel wireless tuner. All 5000 Series receivers feature a frequency scanning function and transmitter battery status indicator.

The WM-5270 Wireless Microphone employs a dynamic microphone capsule with high input handing capacity and is suitable for vocal application and other professional uses. Thanks to the PLL-synthesizer system, 16 different operating frequencies (per each of 4 banks) are made available. High output power ensures stable radio signal transmission. The maximum input sound pressure can be set in the range of 130 dB SPL to 142 dB SPL by a PAD switch, permitting adaptation to wide range of input sound pressure.

The wireless tuner WT-5810 is designed to deliver outstanding performance levels, stability and overall reliability. A wide choice of channels realized by the use of the PLL-synthesized oscillator enables you to select channels freely to prevent any interference. In addition, TOA tuners provide significantly less potential for noise caused by changeovers between antennas, by employing true diversity and space diversity methods. A two-line LCD display enables faster meter reading. For further performance enhancement, a TOA diversity system eliminates dead spots and provides more stable signal reception. Noise reduction is improved with a squelch function (carrier, noise, tone), and a compander function minimizes ambient noise pickup. For easier operation, a Channel Check function simplifies channel setting operations on wireless microphones used on multiple channels simultaneously. A low battery indicator monitors and indicates microphone battery voltage status.

The wireless tuner WT-5805 is rely on Phased Lock Loop(PLL)synthesis for excellent performance levels, stability and reliability. Oscillation frequency changes caused by changes in ambient temperature are kept to a minimum. For a dramatic reduction in noise during changeover between antennas, space diversity is now employed. A channel search function is incorporated in all tuners, and a two-line LCD display enables faster meter reading. Remaining battery power indication is also provided.

The WTU-M9800 tuner may be used in any TOA mixer that accepts a 900 series module. Each module is a diversity UHF receiver with 16 user selectable frequencies. Up to two modules may be used in a frame without the use of an external power supply. A wide range of M band transmitters is available, as all 5000 series microphones and belt packs are compatible with WTU-M9800. Two whip antennas on standard BNC connectors are included. Phantom power on the antenna inputs supports the use of TOA’s YW-4500 Q powered remote antennas.
